Accepting an Invitation

Last updated 4/7/2026

Overview

Most Centerline users join by invitation rather than by creating their own organization. When a club administrator invites you, they're not just giving you access to a scheduling system — they're setting up your specific role within the club, your access to particular aircraft, and your place in the organization's safety and communication chain. Joining through an invitation means your permissions are configured before you arrive, so you can start booking flights and viewing fleet status right away.

Steps to Accept an Invitation

  1. Check your email — Look for an invitation email from Centerline. The subject line will reference your club's name. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
  2. Click the invitation link — The link will take you to the Centerline invitation acceptance page.
  3. Review the invitation details — You'll see the organization name, who invited you, and the roles you've been assigned. Take a moment to confirm this matches your expectations before proceeding.
  4. Complete your profile — Enter your first name, last name, and phone number (optional but useful for SMS notifications).
  5. Create a password — Choose a secure password with at least 6 characters.
  6. Click Accept Invitation — Submit the form to join the organization.

Invitation Expiration

Invitations expire after 7 days. If your invitation has expired before you could accept it, contact your club administrator and ask them to send a new one. The process is quick on their end.

Already Have a Centerline Account?

If you already have a Centerline account with another organization — for example, you're a member of multiple clubs — the invitation will automatically link the new organization to your existing account. You won't need to create a new password. After accepting, you can switch between organizations using the organization selector in your profile menu at the top right of the screen.

Tips

  • Your assigned roles determine what you can do in the system. If you believe you need additional permissions (for example, you're also the club's maintenance coordinator), contact your Account Owner after joining.
  • After accepting, update your profile with your pilot certificates, ratings, and currency dates — your Medical, BFR, and any club-specific review expiration. This helps Centerline remind you before anything lapses and lets your club track fleet readiness.
  • If you have a phone number on file and enable SMS notifications in your profile, you'll receive text message alerts for reservation reminders and other important updates.
