Aircraft Permissions

Last updated 12/27/2025

Overview

Aircraft permissions control which aircraft a member can reserve. Members can only book flights on aircraft they have been granted access to.

Required Role

You must have either the Account Owner or User Management role to manage aircraft permissions.

Steps to Set Aircraft Permissions

  1. Navigate to Members - Click Members in the navigation bar.
  2. Click on a member - Opens their profile.
  3. Go to Aircraft & Roles tab - Find the allowed aircraft section.
  4. Check aircraft - Select which aircraft they can reserve.
  5. Click Save - Changes take effect immediately.

What Permissions Affect

Aircraft permissions control:

  • Which aircraft appear in the member's reservation dropdown
  • Which aircraft appear in their fleet status
  • Which aircraft they can report squawks for

Default Permissions

When inviting a new member, you select their initial aircraft permissions. If none are selected, they won't be able to make any reservations.

Tips

  • Grant access based on checkout status - only give access to aircraft the member is qualified to fly.
  • Review permissions when aircraft are added or removed from the fleet.
  • Members see a "Welcome Aboard" message on their dashboard if they have no aircraft access.
