Removing Members

Last updated 12/27/2025

Overview

When a member leaves your organization, you can remove their access by removing all their roles. This is sometimes called "retiring" a member.

Required Role

You must have either the Account Owner or User Management role to remove members.

Steps to Remove a Member

  1. Navigate to Members - Click Members in the navigation bar.
  2. Click on the member - Opens their profile.
  3. Go to Aircraft & Roles tab
  4. Uncheck all roles - Remove all role assignments.
  5. Uncheck all aircraft - Remove all aircraft access.
  6. Click Save - The member is now retired.

What Happens When Removed

When a member is retired:

  • They can no longer access your organization
  • They won't appear in the default member list (toggle "Show Retired" to see them)
  • Their existing reservations remain but can't create new ones
  • Their historical data (past reservations, squawks) is preserved

Reactivating a Member

If a retired member returns, you can reactivate them by:

  1. Toggle "Show Retired" to find them in the member list
  2. Click on their profile
  3. Assign roles and aircraft access again

Restrictions

  • You cannot remove the last Account Owner
  • You cannot remove yourself (another admin must do it)
  • Future reservations should be canceled before removing access

Tips

  • Cancel any pending reservations before removing a member.
  • Members are "soft deleted" - their data is preserved for historical records.
