Viewing Squawks

Overview

The Squawks page shows all maintenance reports for your organization's aircraft. You can view, filter, and track the status of each squawk.

Accessing Squawks

Click Squawks in the navigation bar to see all squawks, or click View Squawks on a specific aircraft in the fleet status.

Squawk List

The list shows all squawks with:

  • Aircraft - Which aircraft has the issue
  • Description - What the problem is
  • Status - Open, Resolved, etc.
  • Grounding - Red flag if grounding issue
  • Date - When it was reported
  • Reporter - Who reported it

Filtering Squawks

Use the filters to narrow down the list:

  • Aircraft dropdown - Show squawks for a specific aircraft
  • Grounding Only - Show only grounding squawks

Squawk Details

Click on any squawk to see full details including:

  • Complete description
  • Reporter information
  • Crew comments
  • Attached files (photos, documents)
  • Status history

Squawk Statuses

  • Open - Issue has been reported and needs attention
  • In Progress - Maintenance is working on it
  • Resolved - Issue has been fixed
  • Deferred - Issue has been noted but deferred

Tips

  • Review open squawks before every flight.
  • Pay special attention to grounding squawks - the aircraft should not fly.
  • If you have the Maintenance role, you can update squawk status and add resolution notes.
