Flight Reminders, at a Reasonable Hour
Reservation reminders used to go out in one overnight batch — which meant a text at 1am ET, sometimes calling a same-day flight "tomorrow." Now each reminder is sent as your reservation enters its 24-hour window, so it arrives roughly a day before your flight, at the hour you'll actually see it. The wording is timezone-aware too: today means today, tomorrow means tomorrow.
Book inside the 24-hour window? You just got a confirmation, so no redundant reminder follows. And if you move a reservation, the reminder re-arms for the new time.
Your Charges, One Tap Away
If your club uses billing, your ledger has moved out from under Profile and into its own Charges screen — open the avatar menu in the top-right corner and it's right there. What you'll find:
Your current balance, front and center
A running balance on every line, so you can see exactly how each charge and payment moved the number
The same payment instructions and Pay Now button as before
No more digging two clicks deep to answer "what do I owe?"
A Calendar You Can Read Across the Room
Several upgrades to the reservation calendar landed this cycle:
All Aircraft view now labels every tile with the tail number and the pilot's name — no more clicking into reservations to see whose flight that is.
Past reservations dim, so today and everything ahead of you stand out.
If you filter the calendar to an aircraft that isn't reservable (sold, retired, or maintenance-only), a banner tells you you're in view-only territory instead of letting you wonder why clicking does nothing.
Long titles now ellipsize with a proper "…" instead of being chopped mid-word.
Events Lead with Their Image
The events list now puts each event's image up front, so the pancake breakfast looks like a pancake breakfast. (Admins also got a new way to create those images — expect your club's events to get better looking.)
Search the Help Center
The in-app help center now has a search box — type a few words and get ranked results with highlighted snippets, instead of scanning the article list. It searches full article text, not just titles.
Paste Markdown, Get Formatting
If you write in markdown, the rich-text editors around the app (notifications, event descriptions, and friends) now recognize a markdown paste and convert it — headings, bold, links, lists, all formatted instantly. Ordinary pastes behave exactly as before.
Smaller Fixes Around the App
No more phantom "missing flight" gaps — Filtering the flight log by pilot no longer makes everyone else's hidden flights read as hobbs/tach gaps.
The Finish Flight trap is closed — There was a half-hour window where the Current Flight card offered a Finish button that could half-succeed and then insist your flight was "already finished." The card and the workflow now agree on the same 90-minute window, and nothing is written until every check passes.
Dialog polish — Dialogs animate from the center again and play their exit animation when closing, instead of vanishing or sliding in from a corner.
Instructor setting sticks — Saving your profile no longer quietly clears your club instructor.
