The part of a flying club that isn't scheduling
Fly-ins, safety nights, pancake breakfasts, and ground school, on the same calendar as the airplanes, with RSVPs, seat limits, and one club calendar feed members can subscribe to from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.
Events
A fly-in, a safety night, a pancake breakfast, ground school, or a member meeting gets a title, description, location, and start and end time, with an all-day option for anything that doesn't need a clock. Attach a photo and the event page reads like an invitation instead of a line in a list, a real draw for the members deciding whether to show up.

RSVPs
Members register with an optional comment: a dietary note, a plus-one, whatever the event needs to know. Give an event an optional seat cap and registration past that number is rejected on the server, not just hidden on the screen; leave it blank and the event is unlimited. And for the member who called the front desk instead of clicking a button, an admin can add or remove a registrant directly.

Headcount for the pancake order.

- Seat limits
Capacity-constrained events handle themselves.

Getting the word out
Broadcast a notification to every member or narrow it to just the people already registered, with an optional comment of your own attached. And the day before the event, everyone who registered gets a reminder. Members who never RSVP'd aren't reminded, so the people who said they were coming are the ones who hear about it again.

The calendar feed
Every organization gets one private calendar link covering upcoming events plus the last 90 days, subscribable read-only from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. It updates automatically as events are added or changed, so there's nothing to re-import. The link is shared across the whole club rather than issued per member, so resetting it cuts everyone off at once and hands out a fresh one to resubscribe.
- iCal calendar feed
Club events appear on members' own calendars automatically.
Requires the Events feature
- Upcoming Events card
Visibility without a separate app.
Requires the Events feature
Events is optional and on by default. Clubs that don't run events turn it off and never see it.
