Moving your club takes an evening, not a season
Bring your members, your reservation history, your open squawks, and your maintenance schedules with you. Most clubs are fully migrated in about thirty minutes.
What comes across
Four kinds of records, imported and exported the same way, always limited to your own organization.
Members
Names, contact details, certificates, and currency dates carry over, so admins aren't rebuilding the roster by hand. Everyone arrives as a member; you hand out the officer roles once, in Centerline.
Reservations
Including historical bookings, so your utilization and demand reports have depth from day one instead of starting from a blank slate.
Squawks
Open and closed, with the history intact, so maintenance can see what's outstanding and what's already been resolved.
Maintenance schedules
Due dates, recurring intervals, and completion history, so nothing quietly falls due the week after you switch.
How the import works
Four steps, one CSV at a time. An Account Owner runs it from Setup, always limited to your own organization.
- 1
Export a CSV from your current system
Whatever your existing vendor gives you for members, reservations, squawks, or maintenance schedules, one file at a time.
- 2
Map your columns
Centerline guesses the mapping from your column headers. You can override any of them before moving on.
- 3
Review what Centerline found
A preview of the mapped data, plus a check for missing required fields, before anything is saved.
- 4
Confirm the import
Approve it and the records are created. Nothing is saved until this step.
Flexible date handling
Dates come out of old systems in every format imaginable. Centerline reads MM/DD/YYYY and ISO formats, with or without a time attached, so you don't have to reformat a spreadsheet by hand before uploading it.
Nothing is saved until you approve it
You see the mapped preview and any missing required fields before you approve it. If something looks wrong, fix the mapping or the source file and try again. No cleanup required.
And you can leave the same way you arrived.
While your subscription is active, members, reservations, squawks, and maintenance schedules export to CSV any time, limited to your own organization, with every column included and linked records written out as names you can read instead of internal ID numbers.
We'd rather earn next month than trap you into it. Ask your current vendor how their export works; the answer is usually informative.
What to expect in week one
The evening is the easy part. The week around it looks like this.
Day one
Set up your organization profile, scheduling rules, and aircraft. This is the part worth doing carefully; it's the foundation everything else sits on.
That evening
Import your members, reservations, squawks, and maintenance schedules, then send invitations. This is usually the fastest part of the whole move.
The next morning
Members log in, see their history intact, and start booking. Expect some questions the first week; new software always draws a few.
Once scheduling has settled
Turn on billing when you're ready, not before. There's no requirement to enable it on day one.
Data portability, in full
