A logbook that catches its own typos
Hobbs and tach captured the moment you shut down, then checked against the engine's own math. Storing flight logs is table stakes. Centerline audits them.
Closing out a flight takes one workflow, not a memory
The flight you're on shows up as a Current Flight card on both the dashboard and the Flight Logs screen, with a Finish Flight button that stays available for an hour and a half after the scheduled end, so a delayed pilot isn't racing the app. The guided dialog behind it records hobbs and tach start and end, fuel added, oil added, and comments, plus a cost summary step when billing is turned on. Entering 1247.8 on a phone at the airplane is a drag, not a chore: press and drag up or down on either side of the number, with mouse or touch. Off-field fuel gets a camera or photo picker instead of a text message to the treasurer. And a member with a flight already in progress is nudged straight into that workflow instead of being offered a manual entry that could duplicate it.
- Finish a flight in the app
The log gets closed by the person who flew, at the moment they land, and one pass captures everything maintenance and the treasurer need.
Requires the Flight Logs & Time Tracking feature
- Fuel receipt capture
Reimbursements have a paper trail instead of a text message, and a member's financial paperwork isn't sitting behind a guessable address.
Requires the Billing feature; also requires Flight Logs & Time Tracking. Members attach receipts when finishing a flight, admins on manual entries
The intelligence
Storing flight logs is table stakes. Auditing them is not.
Two pilots log within minutes of each other. One types the start tach wrong. Under most systems that's a wall of red warnings and an evening of detective work.
Centerline reads each entry against the one before it and tells you what's actually wrong. Forgot the end tach? It back-computes the right number from that aircraft's own tach-to-Hobbs ratio (the median across every clean flight it has ever logged, with at least three samples required) and offers it as a one-click "Use" button. Tach impossibly higher than Hobbs? Same treatment. A single upstream typo cascading into a run of downstream warnings? It traces the cascade and, when the typo is clearly on one side, points straight at that row instead of leaving you to check both.
No AI and no guessing: deterministic arithmetic, the same math your A&P would do by hand.
- Gap detection
The logbook tells you it is incomplete instead of quietly being wrong, and closing a gap takes seconds.
Requires the Flight Logs & Time Tracking feature
- Rule-based suggested fixes
Typos are caught at the source, the system knows what the number should have been, and 12 red warnings turn back into 1 real problem, all of it explainable to an A&P.
Requires the Flight Logs & Time Tracking feature
Records that stay trustworthy
Every tail keeps its own full history: automatic hour calculation, running totals, and a filter down to a single pilot's flights on that aircraft. Flights flagged as maintenance never generate a charge, and once a billing entry exists for a log, editing, deleting, or re-finishing it is blocked on the server, not just hidden on the screen. Corrections route through an admin who fixes the log and the charge together. Until then, members clean up their own unbilled typos without filing a support ticket. Aircraft without a Hobbs meter can turn tracking off entirely, which hides Hobbs from entry forms, the list, cost summaries, rate setup, and the CSV export, and every export carries the right columns for how the aircraft is configured.
- Per-aircraft history, filterable by pilot
Replaces the clipboard in the aircraft and the spreadsheet on someone's laptop.

- Maintenance flight flag
Ferry and test flights don't bill a member.
Requires the Flight Logs & Time Tracking feature; the exclusion matters once the Billing feature is on
- Billed-log locking
Books and logs cannot silently diverge; corrections route through an admin who fixes both together.
Requires the Flight Logs & Time Tracking feature; the lock applies to members once the Billing feature has generated an entry
- CSV export of logs
Board packets, insurance, tax time.
