Closing the Loop
You reported the squawk. Maintenance fixed it. But fixed how? This update is about closing that loop — plus a little more control over your own flight log and some polish you'll feel every day.
Squawks Now Come with Answers
When maintenance closes a squawk, they now record what was actually done to resolve it — it's required, not optional. That resolution shows up everywhere you'd look for it:
In the squawk closed notification you receive, right in the email
In the squawk's detail view, under Resolution, permanently
No more "closed" with no explanation. When your write-up gets resolved, you'll know whether it was a new part, an adjustment, or a documented "inspected, within limits."
And if an issue comes back? Maintenance can reopen the squawk — same report, same history, same attachments — instead of everyone starting over from scratch.
The New MONITORING Badge
Some squawks aren't defects — they're things worth watching. Slightly elevated oil consumption. A vibration one pilot felt once. For these, maintenance can now flag a squawk as Monitoring, and you'll see a blue MONITORING badge instead of the amber OPEN one.
Here's the part that matters to you: a monitoring squawk is an invitation for your feedback. If you notice the thing it describes on your flight — or notably don't — say so. That's the data maintenance is waiting for. Monitoring squawks stay visible in the squawk list and on your dashboard's fleet status, so you'll always know what to watch for before you fly.
Delete Your Own Flight Log Entries
Fat-fingered a duplicate entry? Logged against the wrong aircraft and re-entered it? You can now delete your own flight log entries yourself — open the entry and use the delete button. No more emailing an admin to clean up your own typo.
Reservation Times That Behave
The reservation time picker got smarter: when you move your start time, your duration stays put instead of the end time staying anchored. Booked 2 hours starting at 9? Slide the start to 10 and it's still 2 hours, ending at 12 — the way you meant it.
Smaller Fixes Around the App
Error messages you can actually see — If a form fails validation after you've scrolled down to submit, the error now scrolls back into view instead of hiding above the fold.
Class ratings that stick — The class-rating checkboxes on your profile now stay in sync after saving.
