Overview

The Members page is the central roster for your flying club — a single place to see who belongs to your organization, what roles they hold, and whether they are actively engaged with the system. Knowing your membership at a glance matters for safety and administration alike. If a member's email is bouncing, they may be missing reservation reminders or maintenance alerts. If someone hasn't signed in for months, they may have lost access to the system without anyone noticing. Centerline surfaces these signals directly in the member list so administrators can act before small issues become problems.

The page is visible to all members, but richer administrative details — including last login times, email deliverability warnings, the Roles column, and the Show Retired Members toggle — are only shown to users with the Account Owner or User Management role. This keeps the interface clean for everyday members while giving administrators the context they need.

Accessing the Members List

Click Members in the navigation bar to see all organization members.

Member Information

For each member, the list displays:

  • Name — First and last name, with a profile avatar. Your own entry is labeled (You).
  • Email — Contact email address, shown as a clickable mailto link.
  • Phone — Phone number if provided, formatted and shown as a clickable tel link.
  • Last Login — How many days ago the member last signed in (visible to admins only). Displays Today, 1 day ago, N days ago, or Never for accounts that have never been used.
  • Roles — Icon badges showing each assigned role (visible to Account Owners and Booking role holders).

Email Deliverability Indicators

When Centerline detects that emails to a member have bounced or triggered a spam complaint in the past 30 days, a yellow warning triangle appears next to their email address. Hover over the icon to see the tooltip: "Email delivery issues in the last 30 days."

This matters because Centerline sends time-sensitive emails — reservation reminders, invitation links, certificate expiration warnings, and maintenance notifications. A bouncing address means those messages are not getting through. When you see the warning triangle:

  1. Contact the member through another channel (phone, in person).
  2. Ask them to update their email address in their profile, or update it yourself via the Edit button.
  3. Once corrected, the warning will automatically clear after 30 days with no new issues.

Last Sign-In Tracking

The Last Login column (shown to admins) pulls the member's most recent authentication timestamp directly from Centerline's auth system. This is a useful health check — a member who shows Never may not have completed their signup after accepting an invitation, while a member who last logged in over 90 days ago may have forgotten their credentials or no longer need access.

Sorting the list by Last Login is a fast way to identify inactive accounts before a membership renewal cycle or audit.

Sorting and Filtering

Use the controls at the top of the list to find specific members:

  • Search — Type a name, email address, or phone number to filter the list in real time.
  • Sort — Click any column header (Full Name, Email, Phone Number, Last Login) to sort ascending. Click again for descending. Click a third time to clear the sort.
  • Show Retired Members — This checkbox appears when there are retired members (users with no roles). Check it to include them in the list; the count in parentheses tells you how many there are.

Role Badges

Roles are displayed as icon badges with tooltips. Hover over any badge to see the role name.

  • Crown icon (amber) — Account Owner
  • Calendar icon (teal) — Booking
  • Wrench icon (coral) — Maintenance
  • Users icon (purple) — User Management
  • User icon (gray) — Member
  • Ban icon (red) — Suspended (no active roles)

Viewing and Editing Member Details

Click any member's name, or click the Edit button (pencil icon) that appears for admins, to open their full profile. From the edit page you can view and update:

  • Contact information (name, phone, mailing address, emergency contact)
  • Aircraft access permissions
  • Certificates, ratings, and expiration dates
  • Flight instruction status
  • Password reset (admins only)

Pending Invitations

If there are outstanding invitations, they appear in a separate Pending Invitations card above the member list. This section is only visible to users with the Account Owner or User Management role. Each invitation shows the invited email address, its status (Pending or Expired), and options to resend or cancel.

Tips

  • Use the Last Login sort to surface dormant accounts before sending a club-wide communication — members who haven't logged in recently may need to be contacted separately.
  • The email warning triangle is a passive monitor; check it periodically rather than only when something seems wrong.
  • On mobile devices the table switches to a card-based layout, but all the same information and actions are available.
  • The member count at the bottom of the list shows how many members are currently displayed versus the total, which helps confirm your search or filter is working as expected.
