Overview

Flying safely means staying informed — not just about weather and NOTAMs, but about the platform you use to manage your flying. Centerline publishes announcements to keep all users informed about new features, policy updates, important changes to how the system works, and other news from the Centerline team. Think of the Announcements page as the official bulletin board: when something changes that affects how you book flights, track maintenance, or manage your club, you'll find it here.

Announcements are written for the whole Centerline community and are accessible without logging in, so you can always check what's new even before you sign in to your account.

Viewing Announcements

The Announcements page is accessible from the main navigation on the Centerline marketing site. You don't need to be logged in to read announcements.

Browse the Announcements List

1. Navigate to the Announcements page — Click Announcements in the top navigation bar on the Centerline website, or go directly to centerline.app/announcements.
2. Browse the list — Announcements are displayed in reverse chronological order, newest first. Each entry shows:
   • The announcement title
   • The published date
   • A preview of the content (the first 200 characters, or a custom summary if provided)
3. Click an announcement to open the full article.

Reading an Announcement

The full announcement page displays:

• Title — the name of the announcement
• Published date — when the announcement went live
• Audience — who the announcement is intended for (e.g., "All Members", or a specific role like "Account Owners")
• Full content — the complete announcement text, which may include formatted text, lists, and links

A breadcrumb at the top lets you navigate back to the full announcements list.

What Gets Announced

Centerline announcements typically cover:

• New features — when major new capabilities are added to the platform (for example, a new Events module or Time Tracking support)
• Changes to existing features — when the behavior of something you already use changes in a meaningful way
• Policy or terms updates — any changes to how Centerline operates as a service
• Scheduled maintenance windows — if the platform will be briefly unavailable for maintenance
• General news — other information relevant to the Centerline community

Announcements are distinct from the notifications your club admins send within your organization. Club-specific messages — like "the Archer is back from annual" or "no flying this Saturday due to airshow" — come through your club's in-app notification system, not here.

Tips

• Check the Announcements page after any major update to the platform to understand what changed and how it might affect your workflow.
• If an announcement mentions a feature you don't see in your account, it's possible your organization hasn't enabled it yet. Contact your Account Owner to ask about enabling optional features like Events or Time Tracking.
• Announcements are public, so you can share links to specific announcements with club members who haven't logged in yet.
