Editing Your Profile
Last updated 4/7/2026
Overview
Your Centerline profile is more than a name and a photo — it is the foundation of your club's safety and operational record. When every member keeps their profile current, club administrators know exactly who is flying which aircraft, how to reach a pilot in an emergency, and whether someone's qualifications are up to date before they take the keys.
A complete profile also builds trust within the community. When your fellow members can see your photo, a short bio, and your experience level, the club feels like a real community of pilots rather than a list of login accounts. For clubs with instructors, an up-to-date profile is the primary way other members discover who to call for a checkout or a flight review.
Accessing Your Profile
Click your profile picture or name in the top-right corner of any page, then select Profile. The profile page is organized into four tabs: Personal, Certificates & Ratings, Notifications, and Security.
Personal Information
On the Personal tab you can update all of your contact and biographical details. The form is divided into a few sections:
Basic Information
- First Name / Last Name — Your display name throughout the app and in all notifications
- Phone Number — Used for SMS notifications and for club administrators to reach you directly
- Date of Birth — Optional; some clubs track this for membership records
- Emergency Contact — The name of someone to call if you are involved in an incident. This is one of the most important fields in your profile — please fill it in.
- Emergency Phone — The phone number for your emergency contact
- Mailing Address — Optional; used if your club sends physical correspondence
Profile Picture
Upload a photo so other members and administrators can put a face to your name. Your picture appears on the dashboard, in the members list, and on the Instructors card if you are listed as a club instructor.
About Me
A short free-text bio that other members can read. Use this space to share your experience level, what aircraft you fly most, your home airport, or anything else that helps the club get to know you.
How to Update Your Profile
- Navigate to Profile using the link in the top-right corner
- You are on the Personal tab by default

- Select an image file from your device (JPG or PNG recommended)
- The picture is uploaded and saved automatically — no separate save button is needed
Account Information
Below the editable sections, the Account Information card shows read-only details about your membership:
- Email address — Cannot be changed from this page; contact your account owner if your email needs to change
- Organization — The club you are currently logged into
- Role(s) — Your assigned permissions within the club
- Member Since — The date your account was created
- Reservation Statistics — A count of your reservations this year, last year, and lifetime. This is a helpful at-a-glance view of your activity history.
Tips
- Fill in your emergency contact before your first reservation — it takes 30 seconds and matters when something goes wrong.
- Add a recognizable photo. Many clubs have members who have never met in person; a photo goes a long way.
- Keep your phone number current. Reservation reminders and backup-promotion alerts go to this number if you have SMS enabled.
- Your bio is a great place to mention your total hours, ratings, or favorite type of flying — it helps the club understand your background at a glance.
