Changing Your Password

Last updated 4/7/2026

Overview

Your Centerline password protects access to your club's reservation system, your personal information, and — if you have an administrative role — sensitive member data and club settings. Keeping your password strong and unique to Centerline is a simple but important step in keeping your account and your club's data secure. If you share a device with others, work from a club computer, or suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission, changing your password immediately limits any potential exposure.

Accessing Password Settings

Go to your Profile and select the Security tab. The password form is the only section on this tab.

Steps to Change Your Password

  1. Enter your current password — This confirms your identity before allowing the change. If you cannot remember your current password, use the Forgot Password flow instead (see below).
  2. Enter your new password — Choose a password that is at least 6 characters long. Longer passwords using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols are harder to guess.
  3. Confirm your new password — Type the new password a second time to catch any typos.
  4. Click Change Password — Centerline will verify your current password, then apply the change. A confirmation message will appear when the update is complete.

Password Requirements

  • Minimum 6 characters
  • Letters, numbers, and special characters are all accepted
  • Cannot be your current password

If You Forgot Your Password

If you cannot log in because you have forgotten your password:

  1. Go to the Sign In page
  2. Click Forgot Password
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset link — the email arrives within a few minutes
  5. Click the link in the email and enter a new password

The reset link expires after a short time, so use it promptly. If it has expired, start the process again from the Sign In page.

Tips

  • Use a password that is unique to Centerline — do not reuse passwords from other sites. If one site is ever breached, a unique password means your Centerline account stays safe.
  • A password manager (such as 1Password, Bitwarden, or the one built into your browser) makes it easy to use a long, random password without having to remember it.
  • Change your password immediately if you suspect someone else has accessed your account, if you used a shared or public computer to log in, or if you receive a suspicious password-reset email that you did not request.
  • If you receive a password reset email you did not request, do not click the link. Someone may have entered your email address by mistake. Your password is not changed unless you complete the reset flow yourself.
